By Kathleen Culliton | November 16, 2016 4:50pm

BROOKLYN — A man jumped in front of a northbound D train in a Gravesend train station on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The unidentified man jumped in front of the train at the Bay 50th Street stop on Stillwell Avenue around 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, according to the FDNY and MTA.

The man was transported to Lutheran Hospital in critical condition, said an FDNY spokesman.

Northbound D trains were rerouted to the N line from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street stops and some southbound D trains terminated at Bay Parkway, according to an MTA alert.

Updates could be seen on the MTA website.
