BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Cheer on your favorite team at a new sports bar planned for Fulton Street.

Fulton Ale House, located at 1446 Fulton St. near Tompkins Avenue, is slated to open on the commercial corridor by mid-December, according to co-owner Diana King.

The business will be a “sports bar in more of a classic pub environment” with a “quieter, more subdued” feel, King added.

The bar is also headed by Jimmy Grimason, who owns Highbury Pub on the border of Kensington and Ditmas Park.

Local, pop-up-style vendors will serve food from the 1,000-square-foot outdoor space, which will also have seating for patrons, and pizzas and savory pies will be served indoors.

With more than 900 square feet of space inside, there’s planned seating for 43 guests, King said, and the bar will start out with four TV screens to show a variety of games.

“This will be a place where people can actually go have a conversation with someone,” she said, adding that there will be no loud music.

Fulton Ale House’s drinks menu is set to include a variety of craft and European beers, along with craft cocktails.

The owners are also looking to hire bartenders from the neighborhood, they said.
