WILLIAMSBURG — An argument in front of a Manhattan Avenue music venue Sunday morning erupted with gunfire that left three people injured, police said.

Police responding to the scene in front of Don Pedro at 92 Manhattan Ave. found a 28-year-old man shot in the foot, a 36-year-old man shot in the left knee and a 25-year-old woman with a wound in her right thigh, according to police.

The three were taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, and the 36-year-old was thought to be one of the gunman involved, though no one had been arrested as of Sunday night, authorities said.

Police are still looking for another suspect who they believed fled the scene.

They were alerted to the scene by ShotSpotter, which locates the source of gunfire through sound monitors.

Following the early morning incident, a pair of bloody sneakers lay in the roadway and one of the victim's friends, who witnessed the attack, sobbed in the back of a police car.

"My friend is probably dead in your ambulance right now," she said, wailing as officers tried to calm her down.

Workers at Don Pedro's didn't return a request for comment immediately.
