QUEENS — Forest Hills sushi lovers will soon have a new chic restaurant in the neighborhood, owners said.

Mito, at 64-18 108th St., is scheduled to open next week and will offer a mixture of Japanese, Chinese and Thai food, according to Wade Chen, 26, one of the owners.

“This is a great neighborhood and we feel like there is nothing like this here," said Chen, who also owns a pizzeria in Rockville Centre, Long Island.

Mito, named after a Japanese city, which also happened to be the Italian word for "myth," will focus primarily on modern Japanese cuisine, such as sushi and sashimi, Chen said.

The menu will boast dozens of different rolls, including popular favorites like Tuna Roll ($5) and Salmon Avocado Rolls ($6).

But it will also offer a selection of "Mito Special Rolls,” such as 108 St. Roll, which is a deep-fried tempura roll of spicy tuna and avocado cream, topped with grilled scallop, crab scallion, tobiko and spicy mayo and eel sauces ($16) and Monster Lobster Roll, which includes lobster tempura, spicy tuna, spring mix, avocado and tobiko, served with diced lobster tempura bits as well as spicy mayo, eel, mango and miso sauces ($18).

The eatery will also offer a selection of Chinese and Thai dishes, like Peking Duck ($25), General Tso's chicken ($17) and Thai Red Curry casserole (between $14 and $24).

Mito, which features a bar and can seat up to 120 people, also hopes to attract patrons with its elegant décor, featuring a handmade wooden boat hanging from the ceiling and figurines modeled after 2,000-year-old Chinese warriors, Chen said.

Forest Hills has several Japanese restaurants, including Narita on 70th Road and Katsuno on Metropolitan Avenue. A number of eateries in the neighborhood also specialize in Asian fusion fare, like Jade Eatery and Lounge at Station Square and Moca Asian Bistro on 70th Road. Those restaurants, however, are located in a different portion of Forest Hills.
