MANHATTAN — A woman fighting with her boyfriend in a 14th Street subway station slapped him so hard that he fell onto the tracks Monday morning, sources said.

The intoxicated couple was arguing about 6:30 a.m. when the woman, Heather Strow, 31, slapped the man, 41, sending him stumbling into the tracks, sources said.

They were fighting on 14th Street, but sources didn't provide a cross street.

The man injured his ankle in the fall, sources said, and was helped back up onto the platform by other commuters. He was treated at an area hospital, police said.

He was not hit by a train, sources said.

Strow fled the scene and hadn't been arrested as of Monday afternoon, an NYPD spokesman said.
