By Aidan Gardiner | November 14, 2016 8:52am

MANHATTAN — A New Jersey man was arrested for drunkenly shoving his friend into the path of a 2 train in Chelsea on Sunday morning, NYPD officials said.

Aaron Clary, 25, pushed the 54-year-old man, whose name wasn't immediately released, onto the tracks of the West 18th Street station at Seventh Avenue as a northbound 2 train entered the station about 7:30 a.m., police said Monday.

The train ran over the man, but he only suffered a cut to his foot and a bruise to his head, police said.

He was treated at Bellevue Hospital, police said.

Clary, of Newark, was arrested and charged with attempted manslaughter and assault, police said. He hadn't been arraigned as of Monday morning, records show.

Clary, the victim and a third man had been drinking at a bar beforehand, police said.

It's not immediately clear what happened to the third man.
