MIDTOWN — Donald Trump hasn't always received support in Manhattan. When he voted in Midtown Tuesday morning, some yelled "New York hates you!" at him.

But Trump supporters came together outside the headquarters of Fox News by the evening. More than 100 people were excitedly milling about outside the News Corporation building after midnight on election night.

"I always expected Trump to win," said Lovepreet Ghotra of Ozone Park. "I thought the way people were supporting him, you could tell he was gonna win. I like his strategy, and the way he's planning for the country. He's going to improve the country and do something about Obamacare, which was just a huge waste of money."

Asked what he would do if Trump won the presidency, Ghotra shot back: "I'm gonna dance, man!"

"I've been a supporter since the campaign started," said Larry Orsini of Long Island. "I think he's gonna do a better job keeping us safe than Hillary. I wasn't feeling optimistic this morning, but now I'm feeling pretty good."
