TIMES SQUARE — A man twice hurled a chair at the windows of the Majestic Delicatessen, causing more than $3,000 in damage, the NYPD said.

Orvin Bennett, 31, went into the deli at 200 W. 50th St., at Seventh Avenue, around 2:50 p.m. on Nov. 1, picked up a chair, took it outside and threw it at one of the windows, a criminal complaint said.

When the window didn’t break, Bennett picked up the chair and chucked it at another window, shattering the glass, the complaint said.

“He just came, grabbed the chair, broke the window,” said a manager working at the deli Monday who declined to give his name.

Bennett — who was left with a small cut on his face — fled into the 1 train subway station at 50th Street and Broadway after the incident, where he was arrested, police said.

He was charged with criminal mischief and attempted criminal mischief, the Manhattan District Attorney's office said.

The window cost more than $3,000 to replace, the complaint noted.

Bennett was remanded a day after the incident and is currently being held at the Anna M. Kross Correctional Facility, city Department of Correction records show.

He is expected to next appear in court on Nov. 30.

An attorney for Bennett did not respond to a request for comment.
