PARK SLOPE — A man was arrested after swiping nearly $1,000 in printer ink from the Best Buy at the Atlantic Center mall, according to a police report.

Police arrested the 38-year-old thief after a store employee saw him remove 19 packages of the pricey ink without paying Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m., the report stated.

At the time, her phone was in her purse hanging off her son’s stroller. The mom declined the man’s offer of help and a short time later she realized her gold iPhone 7 Plus was missing. She told police the phone cost $1,000.
