BUSHWICK — A Brooklyn potty animal stole a Lyft driver's car after peeing in the backseat then punching the driver, police say.
The livery driver had picked up the passenger, who was around 25 years old, along with a group of friends early in the morning on Oct. 25 in Manhattan and drove them to Bushwick, police said.
All of the man's friends got out but he insisted he'd pay cash to be taken to 65 Roebling St. in Williamsburg, according to police.
The driver agreed but near the intersection of Bushwick and Willoughby avenues, the passenger started urinating in the back seat, police said.
The driver pulled over and got out of his brand new Toyota Highlander and started to call 911, but the rider hopped out of the car and punched the him in the face, according to police.
As the man crumpled to the ground, the passenger jumped behind the wheel driving off north on Flushing Ave. police said.
Investigators later found the $35,000 SUV parked near 196 South First St. in Williamsburg and dusted the car for prints. No arrests had been made as of Friday, police said.
Lyft didn't return a request for comment immediately.
