QUEENS — A Rosedale charter school was evacuated after a bomb threat was reported on Thursday afternoon, according to a school spokeswoman.
Students and staff at the Success Academy of Rosedale on 249th Street and 147th Drive were safely evacuated just before 2 p.m., according to representatives from the charter school and the FDNY.
A note with a bomb threat was found in the second-floor boys’ bathroom, the New York Post reported.
Police had no information on the incident, and it was not immediately clear whether the note was determined to be a real threat, and if students were allowed back into the building.
A spokeswoman for the school would not provide further information.
