MIDTOWN — A man groped a teenage girl on a rush-hour train in Midtown last week, according to police.

Police are on the lookout for a man who assaulted a 15-year-old girl on a southbound F train near 42nd Street-Bryant Park on Oct. 27, according to a police report.

The victim was sitting down on the train at about 7 a.m. when the suspect sat next to her and groped her chest, police said. He managed to flee the train at 42nd Street, but not before the teen snapped a photo of him, according to a police report.

Police described the man as being between 45 and 50 years old with salt-and-pepper hair and was last seen wearing a dark coat and blue jeans.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips on the website.
