GREENWICH VILLAGE — A woman was groped in the early morning hours on a downtown E train approaching West Fourth Street, police said.
The 42-year-old woman was on the train about 6:05 a.m. on Oct. 11 when a man came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks, police said.
The man fled when the train stopped at West Fourth Street, police said.
Police said he was in his 20s, stood about 5-foot-9 and weighed about 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap, a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
