QUEENS — Police are searching for a man who they said grabbed a 43-year-old woman and sexually assaulted her on Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills, officials said Monday.

The incident took place on Tuesday, Oct. 4 around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Queens Boulevard and 76th Road, police said.

The woman was walking alone when the suspect approached her from behind, put his hand around her neck and whispered ‘shhh,’ a spokeswoman for the NYPD said.

He then put his other hand under her skirt and touched her private parts, police said.

The suspect then turned the victim around and pinned her against a car parked nearby, but ran away after the victim screamed, authorities said.

The woman refused medical attention at the scene, officials said.

Police described the suspect as 25 to 35 years old.

The NYPD placed a flier about the assault on the corner where the incident took place.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest in the case, according to the flier.
