Man Broke Into 4 Staten Island Businesses and Stole Cash, Police Say

STATEN ISLAND — A man broke into four Staten Island businesses and stole cash from the registers inside, police said.

The man broke into the front doors of the spots between Sept. 29 and Oct. 9 and took a total of $1,405 in cash, the NYPD said.

The spree started on Sept. 29, when he broke the front glass door of Julie Nail & Spa, 3201 Richmond Road, on Sept. 29 and swiped $500 from the cash register at about 11:40 p.m., police said.

On Sept. 30, he broke into two restaurants about three hours apart and took $80 from Indian Express at 1203 Hylan Blvd. and $525 from Paco's Tacos at 1624 Hylan Blvd.

The suspect's last reported burglary was on Oct. 9 when took $300 after he broke into Giuliana's Restaurant, 4105 Hylan Blvd., at about 9 p.m., police said.
