HELL’S KITCHEN — An operator is being sought to serve up eats from a waterfront cafe and a pair of food carts on a pier near the Intrepid Museum.

The cafe space on Pier 84, at West 44th Street past the West Side Highway, features both indoor and outdoor seating.

It shares the pier with Manhattan Kayak Company’s boathouse, an Hudson River Park Trust educational center, a dog run and a bike shop, according to a Request for Proposals (RFP) the trust issued.

The operator would be required to serve food and drinks year round, as well as managing two food carts near the cafe.

The lease is for up to four years, with the option to renew for up to five additional years.

The cafe “is expected to be operated for customers of all ages, and is not intended to be a ‘bar,’ a ‘club’ or any business which may present a nuisance to park patrons or the neighboring residential community,” the Hudson river Park Trust noted.

Last year, the Trust decided not to move forward with plans for a beer garden on Pier 62 after residents and politicians spoke out against it.

The cafe on Pier 84 will open at the beginning of May.

Proposals should be mailed to the Hudson River Park Trust, Pier 40, at 353 West St., Suite 201, New York, NY 10014, Attn: Rashi Puri by Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.
