When Does Daylight Saving Time End?

MANHATTAN — Get ready to feel a little more rested.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 this year.

Setting the clocks back an hour might help some of us feel more refreshed, including TCS New York City Marathon runners who hit the pavement that day.

It also means that those of us who've been getting up when it's still pitch black outside every weekday just might see daybreak when we open our eyes. Sunrise has been happening around 7:30 a.m., but will jump an hour earlier at the end of Daylight Saving Time, according to the Astrological Applications Department of the U.S. Naval Observatory.

Just don't forget that means that it'll also start getting darker at night with the sun setting around 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 6.
