HARLEM — WeWork, a $10 billion co-working space company, is offering Harlem entrepreneurs free accommodation as it prepares to open its first office in the neighborhood.

The company is partnering with Silicon Harlem to launch Mission Possible, which will provide resources to entrepreneurs in the area at the new location at 5 W. 125th Street, slated to open in December.

The program will provide three to 12 months of sponsored space, an opportunity to pitch business plans at a competition, mentorship from industry leaders, legal advice and reduced rates on health care and payment processing, among other services.

In exchange for the benefits, accepted members must complete five hours of community service each month that they are in the program.

“Harlem has always had a rich culture of entrepreneurship, with a community that believes we are better in all things if we do them together,” said Adam Neumann, the company's CEO.

“Mission Possible... will provide local Harlem creators and innovators with access to our global community and other important tools to help them grow.”
