TIMES SQUARE — A woman was arrested after lighting a Molotov cocktail in the middle of Times Square while warning "the end is near," police said.

Ludivine Baugier de Chevestre, 24, lit the makeshift firebomb — which was actually a vodka bottle filled with the alcohol — inside a pedestrian plaza at the northwest corner of West 46th Street and Broadway around 7:50 p.m. on Friday, police and sources said.

“The end is near,” she said at some point, according to police. “I’m going to end it now."

Baugier de Chevestre was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Her family said the woman, who lives in Connecticut, was off her medication at the time, sources said.

She hadn’t been arraigned as of Monday.
