
SOUTH BRONX — A man was found shot to death behind a South Bronx housing project early Sunday morning, police said.
The unidentified 28-year-old man was found about 2 a.m. Sunday, at the rear of the Mott Haven Houses, 350 E. 143rd St., with gunshot wounds to the torso, the NYPD said.
He was rushed to nearby Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to police. His identity has not been released, pending family notification.
There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
