FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Thousands of wedding and family photos found lost near the World Trade Center have been claimed will soon be reunited with a German choir singer who had lost the images during a trip to NYC.

A New Jersey woman took to Facebook earlier this week in search of the owners of the photos she found on a memory card filled with scores of images while she walked with her family near One World Trade Center.

After NBC News broadcast a story about her search for the owners of the photos, a German singer, currently in New York performing with the Berlin Radio Choir at Lincoln Center, claimed the personal images as his own.

Tozer told DNAinfo New York that she was heading into Manhattan Friday afternoon to meet with the singer before he flies back to Germany on Sunday.

The Cape May, New Jersey, mom told DNAinfo she feels "awesome" that photos will be reunited with their owner.

"I am so happy I am able to return his memories to him," she said.
