LONG ISLAND CITY — An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested for drunk driving and blocking train tracks with his car in Queens on Sunday night, officials said.

Hitesh Arora, 39, was arrested just after 10 p.m. on Borden Avenue near the Pulaski Bridge, where his car was obstructing the LIRR crossing grade, according to police.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, his first such offense, as well as refusal to take a breathalyzer test and obstructing a highway railroad crossing, according to the NYPD.

He was issued a desk appearance ticket, according to the Queens District Attorney's Office. Information on his defense attorney was not immediately available.

Arora has been on the force for three years and was assigned to Patrol Borough Brooklyn North, officials said.

He is currently suspended, according to the NYPD.
