Hotel Visitor Steals Man's Credit Card and Charges $130 at 7-11, Police Say

TIMES SQUARE — A thief stole a man’s wallet and charged more than $130 to his credit card at a 7-Eleven after the victim invited him up to his hotel room, the NYPD said.

The 32-year-old man invited the suspect to his room at the Marriott Marquis at 1535 Broadway, between West 45th and West 46th streets, on May 17, police said.

After the suspect left the man’s room, he discovered his wallet containing $80 in cash, his ID and his credit cards were missing, the NYPD said.

The thief was later caught on surveillance camera charging $134.62 to the man’s credit card at a 7-Eleven at 555 W. 42nd St., near 11th Avenue, police said.
