CHELSEA — A thief used two women’s bank account numbers to withdraw cash from four different Manhattan banks, the NYPD said.

The suspect first used a 62-year-old woman’s account number to withdraw an unspecified amount of cash at an HSBC branch at 80 Eighth Ave. at 11:42 a.m. on May 26, police said.

Less than an hour later, at 12:08 p.m., she went into an HSBC branch at 354 Sixth Ave. and used the same woman’s account number to withdraw more money, the NYPD said.

On June 21, the suspect used a 56-year-old woman’s account number to withdraw cash from an HSBC branch at 110 West Broadway at 11:42 a.m., police said.

She used the same woman’s account number again around 12:14 p.m. that day at an HSBC at 576 Hudson St., where she withdrew an unspecified amount of cash, the NYPD said.

Police described the suspect as approximately 25 to 30 years old, standing 5-foot-3, weighing 150 to 170 pounds, with black hair.

HSBC did not immediately respond to a request for comment Friday.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
