Man Attempting to Surf Subway Fatally Struck by Train in Park Slope: NYPD

PARK SLOPE — A man trying to ride on top of a subway car died after he slipped and fell under the train at the 4th Avenue-9th Street stop, authorities said.

The man was climbing on top of a car when he fell and was hit about 4:30 a.m., the NYPD said.

He died at the scene, police said.

Southbound F and G trains were running with delays Wednesday morning, police and the MTA said.
