TRIBECA — A longtime TriBeCa art school is baring it all to benefit its students.
The New York Academy of Art's "Take Home a Nude" fundraiser auctions artworks that — as the event's name suggests — feature nudes.
The 34-year-old graduate art academy's nude theme for the Oct. 24 fundraiser will feature a host of paintings, drawings and photos by a variety of famous and emerging artists.
Nearly 200 pieces, from artists including Marina Abramovic, Ross Bleckner and Patrick Demarchelier are part of the this year's auction, now celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Ticket prices for the event, held at auction house Sotheby's, range from $150 to $1,500 for the cocktail party and auction, to upwards of $50,000 for a table of 12 at the dinner. Buy tickets here.
