NEW YORK CITY — Get a taste of the best African food in the city, three courses at a time.

New York African Restaurant Week is here, bringing prix fixe menus to more than a dozen of New York’s top Senegalese, South African and Ethiopian eateries in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Lunch and dinner options are priced between $19.95 and $35.95 for the two-week event, going on between Oct. 2 and Oct. 16, organizers said.

This year is NYARW’s fourth year in the city. This year, the promotion includes several events to celebrate African culture and cuisine, including a “Taste of Africa” expo and music performance at the Taj Lounge in Flatiron on Oct. 6 and a fashion show and brunch at Brooklyn Commons in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens on Oct. 9.

To help you find your new favorite spot, DNAinfo New York rounded up all the participating NYARW restaurants. Check out the below map and information for a new place to try; for more information about the promotion, visit nyarw.com.
