YORKVILLE — A 42-year-old woman was struck and dragged by a van while crossing 95th Street on Sunday evening, police said.
The woman was walking across East 95th Street at Second Avenue at 6:30 p.m., when a van hit her and dragged her across the pavement, police said.
It was immediately unclear which direction the van and the woman were going.
She was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition. The driver of the van remained on scene, authorities said.
Police did not know if the driver will face charges.
