WEST BRIGHTON — An NYPD patrol car crashed into an SUV Friday, sending the civilian vehicle into the front door of a laundromat and injuring four people, officials said.
The patrol car and the SUV crashed at the intersection of Broadway and Delafield Avenue in Staten Island at 9:42 a.m., a spokesman for the FDNY said.
The SUV then crashed into the front of Fresh Wash Laundromat at 418 Broadway, officials said.
Two police officers and two civilians were injured in the crash and taken to Richmond University Medical Center, the FDNY said.
One of the civilians was in serious but stable condition and the rest had minor injuries, fire officials said.
