WILLIAMSBURG — A man in a red dress grabbed a stranger by the head and dragged her across the ground before robbing her of just $10, police said.
The 33-year-old victim was on the southwest corner of Varet Street and Graham Avenue on Sept. 23 just before midnight when she dropped a $10 bill onto the ground, police said.
As she bent down to pick it up, two men approached her, according to police.
"The money is mine," the suspect said, grabbing the woman by the head and dragging her across the ground, police said.
During the struggle, the suspect snatched the woman's $10 and the pair left the scene.
No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning, police confirmed.
