Man Robs Maspeth Deli at Gunpoint Early Thursday, Police Say

QUEENS — A man robbed a deli in Maspeth at gunpoint early Thursday morning, according to the NYPD.

The suspect walked into the Grand Deli at 66-10 Grand Ave. at about 12:35 a.m., and then pulled a handgun on a 34-year-old male employee, police said.

The worker refused to hand over cash and the robber then grabbed $150 out of the register and fled west on Grand Avenue.

The suspect is about 20 years old and 6-foot-1. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, light blue jeans and black sneakers.
