BROOKLYN — A 35-year-old woman was found dead in Owl’s Head Park in Bay Ridge Thursday morning, according to the NYPD.
A jogger discovered an unconscious Jennifer Cohen near Colonial Road and Wakeman Place at about 10 a.m. with head trauma, officials said.
“Her pocketbook and some of her belongings were nearby," NYPD Chief of Detectives Bob Boyce said during a press conference Friday. "The case continues.”
Investigators were still trying to determine if Cohen slipped and hit her head or if she was assaulted, sources said.
The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
