MIDTOWN — Popular taco spot La Esquina is tapping into the office-worker set.

The Mexican eatery, which currently has outposts in SoHo and Williamsburg, is opening La Esquina Taqueria next month at 200 W. 55th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues.

The new outpost will serve up a selection of the “street-meets-sophistication” cuisine found at the original La Esquina on Kenmare Street and its offshoot Cafe de la Esquina on Wythe Avenue, it said in a release.

An assortment of tacos, tortas and quesadillas will be on the menu, along with aguas frescas, Mexican beer, a selection of sangrias and other beverages.

La Esquina’s original SoHo spot, a cellar-level restaurant with a "secret" passageway entrance, is known for drawing celebrity patrons.

The new Midtown location is slated to open mid-October, the restaurant said.
