BROOKLYN — Two people were injured after a vehicle struck them in Borough Park Monday afternoon, police said.
The vehicle slammed into a child and adult at 13th Avenue and 45th Street at about 5:18 p.m., officials said.
Both pedestrians were expected to survive and the driver remained at the scene, an NYPD spokesman said.
A local worker said the child appeared to be about 15 years old.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
