Woman Suffers Concussion in Harlem Hit-And-Run, Police Say

HARLEM — A woman was hurt in a hit-and-run collision on 125th Street, police said.

The woman, 25, was crossing the street mid-block near Amsterdam Avenue at about 6:20 a.m. Sept. 17 when a person driving a black two-door sedan struck her, ran over her legs and then took off west on 125th, according to the NYPD.

The woman suffered an abrasion to her head, concussion and leg and ankle injuries.

She was treated at St. Luke’s Hospital and has been released.
