TRIBECA — The owners of an Italian wine bar are adding an additional taste of Italy to the neighborhood.

Terra, which serves up a host of Italian wines, along with small plates of Italian fare, is slated to open a restaurant, called Attraversiamo, right across the street. The new restaurant's name means "let's cross over" in Italian.

The eatery takes the place of The Butterfly at 225 W. Broadway, a retro-style cocktail and comfort food restaurant that shuttered last year.

Attraversiamo's menu will focus on seafood dishes, but it will also serve up a host of fresh pastas, salads and other Italian specialties.

Community Board 1 gave its support for the restaurant's liquor license bid, with operating hours until 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

It was not immediately clear when the restaurant plans to open.
