QUEENS — A girl was raped by a man in a Jamaica park early Wednesday morning after she went to meet him and some of his friends, police said.

The 17-year-old girl went to Detective Keith Williams Park at about 12:50 a.m. with a group of friends to meet Roger Rivera, 18, and two of his buddies, an NYPD spokesman said.

One of the men then pulled out a gun and asked the victim’s friends to leave.

Rivera then sexually assaulted her in the park near Liberty Avenue and 173rd Street, the spokesman added. Rivera's friends remained in the vicinity, police said, though there was no further information immediately available about them.

The victim and men were acquaintances, police said.

Rivera, who lives nearby on 180th Street, was later arrested and charged with rape.
