HARLEM — A man stabbed a woman in her leg in a possibly random attack at an East Harlem building, police said.
Video released by the police shows the man approaching the 58-year-old victim in a doorway at 161 E. 110 St. on Sept. 14 at 5:20 p.m. and stabbing her in the right thigh with a sharp object, police said.
The victim suffered a puncture wound to her right thigh as well as small lacerations, police said. She was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital and is in stable condition.
The suspect fled eastbound on 110 Street after the attack, police said.
He is described as a male, between 30 and 40 years old and 6 feet tall. He's about 220 pounds and has a beard.
He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
