SOHO — A Queens woman was shoved to the ground in an afternoon attack on Wooster Street by a would-be mugger, police said, as she walked with her daughter.

The 52-year-old woman was thrown to the sidewalk on Wooster Street at about 3 p.m. on Sept. 2 by a man attempting to steal her purse, police said.

The man grabbed at her bag, but ran off without managing to steal the purse, police said. The woman was left with bruising on her arm and shoulder.
