Man Fires Gunshot Into Air on Hell's Kitchen Block, Police Say

MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a man who fired a gunshot into the air on a residential block in Hell's Kitchen, the NYPD said. 

The suspect was outside 448 W. 50th St., between Ninth and 10th avenues, when he squeezed off a single shot on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 5:15 a.m., police said.

No one was injured, police said.

The gunman was described as 30 years old, standing 5 foot 10 and weighing 190 pounds, wearing a tank top, black shorts, black and white sneakers, and a black baseball cap, the NYPD said.
