By Danielle Tcholakian | September 14, 2016 4:33pm

GREENWICH VILLAGE — Two men beat a third in a fight on a southbound F train Monday night, the NYPD said.

Police said the two men, between the ages of 18 and 25 years old, got into an argument with a 45-year-old man on the train as it was approaching the West 4th Street station about 5:38 p.m. on Sept. 12.

One of the younger men punched the 45-year-old in the face while the other came up behind him and hit him on the back of the head with an unknown object, police said.

Police said the two younger men took off at the West Fourth Street station in an unknown direction, but a straphanger recorded the incident with a cell phone.

Police ask that anyone with information about this incident call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls are confidential.
