MANHATTAN — Incumbent state Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal cruised to victory in the Democratic Primary Tuesday for the West Side seat she's held for a decade, NY1 reported.
Rosenthal easily fended off a challenge from candidate Eugene Byrne, setting her up for a general election face-off with Republican candidate Hyman Drusin.
Rosenthal has represented the 67th Assembly District — which covers parts of the Upper West Side, Hell's Kitchen, Midtown and Central Park — since 2006.
The general election is Nov. 8.
