THE BRONX — A man was shot in the back in Mott Haven Monday afternoon, according to the police.
The man, who is in his 30s, was shot once in the lower back at East 136th Street and Willis Avenue at about 5:21 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition and was being uncooperative with investigators, the spokesman added.
The investigation is ongoing.
