MIDTOWN — A man who told a subway rider to “give my regards to the NYPD” after groping him in front of his family mugged for the camera as the victim took his picture, according to a photo released by police on Monday.
The groper grabbed the 36-year-old man’s buttocks while he was on a downtown A train with his wife and two daughters near Columbus Circle at about 2:40 p.m. on Aug. 28. The suspect then smirked while the father took his picture.
“You’ve got a nice soft a--, and you know you like that,” the man also said, according to police, before ending with “give my regards to the NYPD, they know me well.”
