Man Robs Staten Island Gas Station at Gunpoint, Police Say

FORT WADSWORTH — A gun-wielding man robbed a Staten Island gas station of cash,  police said.

On Sept. 8, the man walked into the Mobil gas station at 5 Fingerboard Road at about 8 p.m., took out a gun and demanded money from the clerk, the NYPD said.

The clerk handed over an undetermined amount of cash to the suspect, who fled, police said.

Police described the suspect as about 20 years old, 6-feet tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray baseball hat, black sneakers, a gray hoodie and blue shorts.
