BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man in connection to a shooting in East Williamsburg last month, the NYPD said Monday.

The 24-year-old victim was running from gunfire outside 50 Debevoise Ave. between Frost and Jackson streets when he was shot in the upper right buttocks and right thigh around 7:50 p.m. on Aug. 8, police said.

The shooter fled the scene in an unknown direction and the victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.

Video surveillance outside the Cooper Houses on Maspeth Avenue caught the suspect wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
