QUEENS — A Jamaica woman was arrested after an early-morning collision that left one person dead and six others hospitalized in Queens, police said.

A group of seven people in their early-to-mid 20s were driving northbound in a 2004 Audi A6 on 120th Street near Linden Boulevard about 4:20 a.m. Sunday when they collided with a 1993 Honda Civic at Linden Boulevard, according to police.

Richmond Hill resident Desray Leroy, a 23-year-old woman sitting in the backseat of the Audi, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in cardiac arrest with head trauma, and was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

The 25-year-old male driver of the Audi was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition, police said. Three male passengers aged 20, 22 and 23 were taken to New York Hospital in stable condition, while a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

The driver of the Civic, Ray Mouton, 53, was taken to Jamaica Hospital with minor injuries. She was later arrested and charged with driving without a license, as well as aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

An investigation by the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad is ongoing, police said.
