HARLEM — An East Harlem man was arrested last month for raping his young stepdaughter, police said.
Between 2011 and 2013, the man, 31 — who DNAinfo is not naming to protect his victim's identity — forced his stepdaughter, who was 8 when he began, to perform sexual acts on him in the family’s home, prosecutors said.
He was arrested on Aug. 26 and charged with several counts of sexual assault and rape.
Prosecutors requested $300,000 bail, but it was set at $100,000 bond or $35,000 cash.
An attorney for the man could not be reached for comment.
