UNIONPORT — A motorcyclist died after colliding with a Chrysler in The Bronx on Sunday night, police said.
The 48-year-old biker was traveling east on the Bruckner Expressway by Pugsley Avenue when he rear-ended a white Chrysler going in the same direction, according to the NYPD.
The motorcyclist lost control of his bike, hit the ground and was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
The driver of the Chrysler stayed on the scene following the crash and is not suspected of any crime, according to police.
No arrests have been made in this incident, police said, and the investigation is ongoing.
