Man Steals $3K From Truck Parked on Queens Boulevard, Police Say

SUNNYSIDE — Police are searching for a suspect who stole more than $3,000 from a truck parked on Queens Boulevard last month, according to the NYPD.

The suspect broke into the commercial truck through its driver's side window just after 4 p.m. on July 1 while it was parked between 41st and 42nd streets in Sunnyside, police said.

The man made off with $3,866 that was stashed inside the truck, according to police.

He was caught on surveillance video wearing a dark track jacket with v-shaped stripes on the front, police said.
